Two eye operations for M. Hamta Ji

Story of Mr. Hamta Ji , handicapped, 2 cataract operations
“My name is Hamta and I am 70 years old. I live in Bhagavas, a small village near Sojat, district Pali, Rajasthan.
I am a farmer ,married, no children. Per month I earn may be 3200.- rupees (= 53 euros) .Since 7 – 8 month my right eye became more and more weak, I could not see properly any more. I could not recognize even the face of the people….that´s why I came again to your hospital. The Cataract operation was done properly by Dr. Goyal, Pali, and now I can see again with the right eye. One year before I had same problems with my left eye and I didn’t know where to go for help. Some good friends told me about an eye camp in the Sri Swami Madhavananda Austria Hospital. So I came to the camp and on the same day I was operated. All was fine and I felt happy. But after some time my right eye get the same problem and my view became worse and worse. Due to the very good treatment through the Austria Hospital I came again here searching for help. I had again a cataract operation but on the second eye. Thanks to these free operations your hospital saved my both eyes. Now my life became again light full, I can see with both eyes clearly and I am happy to live a normal life like before. “

Since when are you handicapped?” He answered: “I had an accident 15 years ago: when I was driving a bullock car the ox get mad and tried to run away, I felt down under the vehicle and broke several times my left leg. But I was afraid about hospitals and also my parent’s didn´t allow me to go there . So they treated me only with local plant medicines and my leg staid misshaped. Since this time I am handicapped and I have to use a stick for walking. But now after this eye operations I gain confidence again to the Hospitals.”

Our 1. serious patient: the report of his heart attack

It happened on 3rd August this year. I was lying in my bed and then turned on the stomach and it suddenly happened. After a few seconds I felt a pain in the chest area. I was trying to help myself with pranayama techniques but without any success. The pain remained.
With the help of my friend I immediately visited our hospital in Jadan (Sri Swami Madhavananda Austria Hospital). I was received by a young Indian doctor Dr.Jagdish. He examined me, measured my blood pressure and consequently suggested me to visit ECG doctor in Pali immediately. The whole way to Pali (20km distance) in the ambulance I was repeating my mantra and I wasn’t scared. When I got to Pali they made my ECG and the situation became serious and urgent. I was sent to the nearby hospital at once where I was put on infusion with certain medicines and the doctors gave me different medical applications. After 3 hours I was urgently sent by ambulance to the Goyal Hospital in Jodhpur, a private cardiology hospital.
The next day they checked (with angiography examination) the blockage of my artery (in the heart), it was still 99% blocked and my life was still in danger. On the 5th August they implanted a stent into my artery which means that they expanded my artery to make it active again. I stayed in Goyal Hospital for the next two days. After that I returned to Jadan hospital where I spent 6 more days. They were taking care of me very well since I was their first really serious patient. Many thanks especially to doctor Jagdish who really excellently diagnosed my problems and sent me to the right place in time.
Now I am enjoying the life in the ashram and its peaceful atmosphere.When lying in the hospital I was remembering the words of the Swami Chitanandaji. He said that if you really want successful live you can do only two or three things.
I know that I got a second chance in my live. Many things are to reform. I feel better to connect with my mantra and Gurudev ... ……Now my live will be ... . I don' t know ... . I shall see and feel ... . "

Health talk with Dr. Mathur in Jadan village

On 12. January the first Health talk was organized by Austria hospital at Anganwadi Center of Jadan village. In that talk Mrs.Dr.Madhu Mathur,gynecologist, addressed to the village women on various topic related to general health care. Especially the women were happy to get such kind of knowledge about women health awareness, protection,safeness and preparation, about medical checkup during pregnancy. Near about 100 women were attending this program & get medical health checkup at same venue by our Dr. Mathur.
After that in next week many of this women came to our hospital for checkup & treatment.For that purpose transport facilities were also provided by Austria hospital. Our ambulance move to village site & bring pregnant ladies to hospital and also drop them after checkup by Sargon Dr. Madhu Mathur.Like this we can improve the health situation of women in the area.
